Single-use disposable gloves

Single-use disposable gloves

Health care professionals require waterproof protection to avoid soiling or direct contact with biological, toxic and chemical hazards.

To meet the different needs of the departments, Mdose offers different models of gloves made of different materials.

Different materials to meet the same need

Disposable gloves are available in different materials and colours to meet specific needs and requirements.

Nitrile disposable gloves offer the same qualities and benefits as latex disposable gloves. As a synthetic material, they offer very little risk of allergic reactions.

The vinyl glove is also more economical. Recommended for short-term use, its resistance is well proven, but it is less elastic than a latex or nitrile glove.

Compliance with health standards is a safety feature for you

Compliance with health standards and directives contributes to the safety of users in all sectors of activity.

    • EN455: Indicates the requirements for the evaluation and control of gloves. This standard is divided into several levels, each with its own specificity.
    • EN374: Biological risk assessment, determination of resistance to micro-organisms (AQL) and viral penetration.
    • ASTM D5250: This specification covers certain requirements for polyvinyl chloride gloves used for medical examinations and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
    • EN ISO 13485: This document specifies the requirements for a quality management system that may be used by an organisation involved in one or more stages of the life cycle including the design and development, production, storage and distribution, installation or servicing of a medical device, and the design, development or servicing of associated activities (e.g. technical support).

Other standards may be associated with the different models of disposable gloves.

    How to choose your glove?

Glove selection is crucial in the workplace. It is imperative to take into consideration the time of use, the environment in which they will be used and the potential allergic reactions of employees.

The colour of the gloves is also important. For example, blue gloves are generally used in the food industry. This makes them easier to spot in the middle of the food. They can also limit the risk of cuts and/or injuries to some extent.
